It's different, I don't know what I expected really. I like it, just plain and simple almost has an old fashioned look to it (not what's in it just the look of it)

Made me think of searching through my mums records years ago

It's very retro looking [img]smile.gif[/img] Darren looks so sad and vulnerable there..........I think because of the autobiographical nature of the album, this cover reflects an image from a bygone age, maybe from his childhood which some of the lyrics connect to. It's sort of reflecting the sadness he was maybe feeling through his life. It's very evocative of the isolation and lonliness. There's a sort of emptiness about it too like the meaningless nature of the blank image of the TV screen that echoes the meaningless nature of fame and money without love in your life.

He also looks incredibly young there too. And the stance is reminiscent of a little boy standing in front of someone older like he's been told off almost. Maybe it's his way of expressing looking for approval and acceptance and ultimately love too.

You know what I love most about it? How that photo (that I adore) and the surroundings in the room, really represent the lyrics of the album. And I love how the entire cover looks like something off an old vinyl lp from years and years ago.
